STORY: Gloria Estefan says she isn't worried about the millennium bug, but she's staying close to home for her New Year's celebration anyway. A Reuters story quotes the pop diva as saying "We're all home. That way we don't have to worry about flying in the Y2K fiasco." Estefan has announced plans for millennium concert on New Year's Eve at the yet-unfinished American Airlines Arena in Miami. Estefan said the concert will feature "mind-blowing" special effects worthy of the millennium. Tickets will start at $150. "We want it to be a show that reflects the magnitude of the millennium. Very few people get to share a millennium together," she said. The New Year's Eve concert will officially open the $165 million arena, which will ultimately house the Miami Heat of the National Basketball Association and anchor a waterfront entertainment district with theaters and restaurants, including Estefan's Bongos Cuban Cafe and Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville.
