Liza Minnelli May Do 2 Shows - 2 Continents

Michael Jackson was first to announce two shows in two cities in two time zones, and now according to the National Enquirer, Liza Minnelli is thinking of doing the same thing.

The Broadway diva who has had years of health, drinking and drug problems is reportedly working on a deal that has her performing in Paris then flying to New York on the supersonic Concorde arriving in time to do a second show before the clock strikes midnight. Jackson's plans seem feasible flying west to east from Sydney Australia to Honolulu, but Minnelli will be chasing the sun going east to west with a smaller window of time to deal with.

A source tells the Enquirer that Minnelli will arrive at a landing pad near Carnegie Hall by helicopter after the Concorde flight, in time to be on stage before midnight.
