STORY: The San Francisco Examiner's music man has come up with a list of millennium related songs that he believes should only be release once in a millennium. Here's what James Sullivan thinks of some of the millennium songs on the market: Robbie Williams: "Millennium" (song): Egomaniacal former Take That singer bullies the industry into hitsville. T'row da bum out. Silverchair: "Anthem of the Year 2000"/"Millennium Bug" (songs): Derivative Down-Under youths try to spin their career forward, at least until they can grow hair on their legs. Third World: "Millennium Symphony" (song): The album is titled "Generation Coming," so you know the band has been consulting market research. ZZ Top: "2000 Blues" (song): Four- foot-long beards -- in style or out? Rick Wakeman: "2000 A.D. Into the Future" (album): Didn't Yes break up before the last millennium? Dream Theater: "New Millennium" (song): Latter-day "progressive" rockers -- don't encourage them. Bounty Killer: "Next Millennium" (album): Thuggish dance-hall toaster gettin' techie on yo' ass. Yngwie Malmsteen: "Millennium Suite" (song): Few things in life could be less appealing than Malmsteen and "Suite."
