The pre-New Year's Eve concert with the feuding divas of Elton John and Tina Turner appears to be still a go. The two had a nasty spat this summer while doing a concert for VH-1 in New York this summer that they reportedly aren't talking to each other. Tina complained about the Elton's piano playing. Maybe it's the rumor that each of them will be getting $5million dollars for their December 30th concert at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas. Tickets are going for $100 to $600. Just down the street, Babs Streisand is reportedly getting $13million for a New Year's Eve concert at the MGM. Then she's going to the roulette table and betting it all on red 32. How about a New Year's Eve party where you get to keep the condo afterwards. That's included in the $99,000 package being offered by the Sheraton Tamorron Resort in Durango Colorado. You get the title a condo, a chilled bottle of Dom Perignon, 2 season ski passes to Purgatory, his and hers skis boots and poles - plus lessons, lifetime membership to the resorts' spa and golf course, his and hers clubs - plus lessons and various vacation packages. Sounds pretty good, but what does that condo look like? Jeez, for $1,000 more, you get a New Year's Eve package at the Ritz Carlton...and you get to keep the Jaguar.
