ABC's Good Morning America has a new home in New York's Times Square and now like a good dog it's looking for some good to bury beneath it. GMA plans on filling a time capsule with its viewers help. Suggestions can be made at the ABC News Good Morning America Website.

Speaking of going underground, but where else but in New York will you find the "Official Millennium Manhole Cover". Dubbed "Global Energy" by its artist-creator, the manhole has a 3-D design and resembles a beach ball being pushed up into a checkered tablecloth. It will first appear next month at the Times Square visitor center. In all, 100 of the designer covers will be spread across the five boroughs before Jan. 1, 2000.

Designer Karim Rashid, who created the 314-pound, fully functional work of art says "I've always wanted to include New Yorkers in something I've done. I just didn't think it would be something they'd be walking over." The 3-D design makes it look like the cover curves up which prompted one visitor at the unveiling to wondered if that might create problems for drunks.

And if can't afford tickets for Barbra Streisand's New Year's Eve show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, here's a chance to get them for free. Free instant win game pieces may be found inside specially marked copies of A Love Like Ours, Streisand's new album, in stores September 21.

The Grand Prize winner will receive two tickets to Bab's concert, a trip for two to Las Vegas, a room at the MGM Grand (December 29, 1999-January 1, 2000; three nights/four days), and $1,000 cash. There will be 100 First Prize game pieces entitling the winner to a copy of Just For The Record, Barbra Streisand's four-CD career retrospective boxed set.
