A millennial clock counts down the seconds to Jan. 1, 2000 in a U.S. Post Office processing and distribution center in Wilmington, Delaware on Wed., March 17, 1999. The USPS this year introduced Celebrate The Century, a stamp series that is using the turn of the millennium as an opportunity to celebrate important events, people and trends of the 20th century.

A millennial clock counts down to New Years Eve among all the Year 2000 computer problem related books for sale at the Borders Bookstore in New York's World Trade Center. Dozens of books about the millennium are in bookstores all over the country.
