Twenty couples from Virginia Beach, VA checked into the Doubletree Hotel last week as part of a radio promotion to conceive babies that will be due January 1, 2000. The contest sponsor, WNVZ-FM, gave the couples a free room at the hotel and a bag of goodies, including bubble bath, lotion and a candle to facilitate the making of a millenium baby. In about 4 weeks, contestants will start coming into the radio station for weekly pregnancy checks.
